When the Iran Nuclear Deal talks resumed in Vienna, our team at NIAC Action remained hopeful that the JCPOA would be restored. It's been several months of hard negotiating but reports indicate that negotiations have reached a crucial stage. We've got to do everything we can to make sure the talks conclude by resealing the nuclear deal.
 Since the beginning, our team has fought for the restoration of the JCPOA. Earlier this month, NIAC Action, along with 20 organizations, sent Secretary of State Anthony Blinken a letter urging his team and the Biden Administration to fight for a peaceful resolution with Iran. We also called out warhawk Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) for undermining talks as they continue and calling for the same failed pressure-only strategy.

We've seen that the hardship maximum pressure campaigns have caused on ordinary Iranians and we've also seen how they've been unsuccessful and unproductive in reaching a resolution. The last thing we need right now is for these negotiations to break down in the eleventh hour.
