Friend, Tuesday was an incredibly emotional day for our community. My friends and all of our community showed up on the steps of the Supreme Court, with even more members of our community inside making the case for our future to the highest court in the land.

The reality of what comes next is that we won’t know the Supreme Court’s decision for a while.

It could come down as soon as January or as late as June of next year. But one thing is super clear to me, friend: whenever the decision comes down, we need to be ready.

No matter what the ruling is, there will surely be a lot of confusion for folks who will be affected by it, and we need to be ready to get out the correct information to our community as soon as possible.

We are ramping up as we wait even if the Supreme Court rules in favor of DACA. Our goal is to make sure as many of our undocumented community are protected.

If they rule against DACA, we will continue to amp up or Deportation Defense program and make sure our members have the tools to make change happen in their localities.

But there’s one thing we do know for certain: we need the resources to stand up for our community whenever that time comes. Will you chip in $7 to make sure we gather enough resources to organize a massive response to SCOTUS’ decision? Anything you can give will go a long way.

I know we can depend on you, friend. This team showed up in so many ways for our people yesterday.

Whether it was testifying at the Supreme Court, rallying on the steps to share stories of what DACA has done for our community, joining in a live stream, or sharing a graphic online — everyone who participated in any way is a part of the movement that will never stop in our tireless pursuit of true freedom for our people.

The fight continues, and so do we. Thanks for everything you do to make this team strong enough to stand up and fight back when our community is under attack.
