On the first day of impeachment hearings, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) whined that Republicans are unable to question the whistleblower, who is "the reason we're all sitting here today."

Rep. Peter Welch (D-VT) had the perfect response to Rep. Jordan: "I'd be glad to have the person who started it all come and testify. President Trump is welcome to take a seat right there."

Rep. Welch is right. Donald Trump is the reason we are in this mess, and there is no more crucial witness who needs to be interrogated than the man who started it all. Put him in the hot seat.
