Just when you think this administration has hit rock bottom, they somehow go lower.

White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller is a xenophobic white nationalist. Newly leaked emails continue to expose him. In them, he:

• Pushes articles and talking points from known white nationalist websites, and even recommends a book about “white genocide” praised by white nationalists and neo-nazis to Breitbart News;
• Whines about the removal of confederate flags after white nationalist Dylann Roof murdered black churchgoers in Charleston, SC in 2015;
• Talks about crimes only committed by non-whites, pushes limiting non-white immigrants into the United States, and supports the same policies once praised by Hitler.

Miller has been in the driver’s seat when it comes to crafting most of the Trump Administration’s immigration policies, like the Muslim travel ban, southern border wall, migrant family separation, ramped-up ICE raids, and extreme limitation of refugees and immigrants.

It’s clear that this man’s racism and xenophobia are what motivated such policies, and they’re having real-time, devastating impacts on thousands of people, including countless children.

Now, squad members and progressive leaders Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are turning up the heat on the Trump administration by calling for Miller’s resignation. That’s exactly right and they need us to show that grassroots progressives have their backs.
