Hey y'all, today Greg Abbott just announced one of the most repugnant abuses of power yet. He’s asking the Texas government to report the parents of trans kids for child abuse.
This is a shocking, and cruel attempt to literally criminalize the existence of trans kids. He wants to use our tax dollars to peer into the clothes and bedrooms of Texas children, and make it illegal to provide lifesaving medical care to LGBTQ youth.

Greg Abbott does not care about Texas children.
DOZENS of Texas children have died while under the supervision of the Department of Family and Protective Service since Abbott became governor.
But instead of fixing this ongoing crisis, he’s creating another one, putting LGBTQ youth at even higher risk of self-harm, or suicide by accusing their parents of child abuse, and putting their kids into Texas’ broken foster care system.
