We’ve just read through your responses, and an overwhelming number of you cited voting rights as one of your top priorities for 2022.
Republican-controlled state legislatures in battleground states are passing sweeping legislation changing election law and suppressing the rights of Americans, particularly voters of color and young people, to cast a ballot.
They cheat because they know they can’t compete.
The Democratic House of Representatives has passed sweeping voting rights legislation to protect and expand the rights of all Americans to cast their ballots. But team, we still have a long way to go if we are going to protect this fundamental component of our democracy.
