The Texas ban has made most abortion services in the state virtually inaccessible for nearly six months now. People in Texas are still forced to find the time and resources to travel hundreds or even thousands of miles out of state for abortions — if they can afford it — or remain pregnant. The cruelty of this ban falls especially hard on people who already face the most barriers to health care: people with low incomes; Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities; and people in rural communities.

Every state trying to follow Texas's lead is threatening the health and rights of all of its people. So we are not holding back. We are mobilizing communities to speak out and fight back. We are putting direct pressure on the lawmakers supporting these cruel and unconstitutional bans. We are working tirelessly to defeat these bans with whatever it takes.
