Friends,

This morning, yet another debate was announced without the mayor agreeing to participate. The Mayor refuses to engage with the residents she is asking to vote for her or answer tough questions. Clearly, she does not feel confident that she can defend her record when pushed on what she has done for the city. Instead, she is doing more of what she has done her entire tenure - proposing catchy slogans and holding media stunts while city services are falling down on the job.

We need a Mayor who welcomes feedback and talks with, not at, communities. We are calling on the Mayor to join Councilmember White at an upcoming debate so the voters can hear from all the candidates. If you agree, let the Mayor know by sharing our posts on Facebook and Twitter.
