Dear friend, In 2020, Democrats won the House, the Senate, and the White House because of a wide coalition of new voters -- especially young people of color. In 2021, New York City elected the most diverse City Council in our history. It’s a big deal! I was especially proud of these accomplishments because I’ve been working to build political power in disenfranchised communities, especially in New York, for my entire career. Before I served in Congress, I worked to build political power in Puerto Rican communities and since I've been in office, I've been committed to building campaign infrastructure so progressive women of color candidates have the support they need to advocate for their communities. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: The issues I’m fighting for have a real impact on the lives of working families. It matters whether or not we take bold climate action, deliver a pathway to citizenship, cancel student debt, and pass paid leave. So our communities deserve a say -- and an advocate. I’m committed to ensuring they’re heard and represented. But I can’t do it without you. Will you be a part of it?
