Dear John,
Rampant illegal immigration has been plaguing and bankrupting American communities for decades now. Last year alone, illegal immigration cost the American taxpayers $115.9 billion dollars -- imagine how that money could have been better spent!
If our borders are not completely secured, and if the influx of illegal immigrants into our country is not stopped, the America we know will be gone forever!
Presidents have been promising the American people that they will deliver on immigration reform for decades; President Trump is the only one who has delivered on his promises -- and he needs our support to finish the job!
ACT for America has made it a central part of our mission to support President Trump every step of the way on his noble mission to fix our broken immigration system and secure the borders.
Will you stand with us as a patriot partner by making a $20 recurring monthly donation to ACT for America in support of our border security work?
In the last 11 months, ACT for America’s members have sent over 300,000 emails and made over 50,000 phone calls to congress in support of America First immigration policies!
Listed below are the critical pieces of legislation ACT for America has been working on:
- The El Chapo Act, introduced by Rep. Mo Brooks (H.R. 714) and Sen. Ted Cruz (S.25) this bill would require the forfeited profits of the drug cartel leader “El Chapo” to be reserved for border security measures between the U.S. and Mexico. ACT for America activists have sent over 10,300 letters of support for this bill.
- The Border Bonds for America Act (H.R. 546), introduced by Rep. Steven Palazzo, directs the U.S. Treasury to issue up to $5 billion in bonds in a fiscal year for the construction of reinforced fencing, physical barriers, and related infrastructure for the southern border. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 5,350 times in support for this bill.
- The Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Act (H.R. 153), legislation introduced by Rep. Jeff Duncan, that would make a state or local government ineligible for federal financial assistance if it restricts or prohibits an agency or official from enforcing our federal immigration laws. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 7,500 times in support of this bill.
- The Visa Overstay Enforcement Act (H.R. 147), legislation introduced by Rep. Jeff Duncan, which would impose penalties on aliens who overstay a visa or lawful immigration status. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 4,000 times in support of this bill.
- The Asylum Abuse Reduction Act (S. 2292), legislation introduced by Senator James Inhofe, that would work to reduce abuse within our nation’s asylum process by requiring migrants to declare asylum at an embassy or consulate in Mexico or Canada before entering the U.S. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 14,250 times in support of this bill.
- The Secure and Protect Act (S. 1494), legislation introduced by Senator Lindsey Graham, that would not allow asylum seekers by Northern Triangle applicants to be held in the US, add immigration judges to reduce the backlog of asylum cases, and permit U.S. border agents to return unaccompanied minors from Central America to their country of origin after screening. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 9,500 times in support of this bill.
- The Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act (S. 2059), legislation introduced by Senator Thom Tillis that would provide civil remedies for individuals harmed by sanctuary city jurisdiction policies. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 17,500 times in support of this bill.
- ACT for America is one of our nation’s STRONGEST supporters of legislation that will fund and build a wall on the southern border. Our members and activists continue to pressure their elected officials every single day to work with President Trump to build the wall. ACT for America activists have contacted Congress over 250,00 times in support of BUILDING THE WALL on the Southern Border
John, as long as our borders are not 100% secured and our immigration system remains broken, ACT for America will be on the front lines DEMANDING action from Congress!
We know that passing meaningful immigration reform will not happen overnight, but we will not relent until the job is done.
Will you stand with us in this fight for secure borders and immigration reform, by making a donation of $50 or more to ACT for America today?
For every $50 donated to ACT for America, we can recruit and empower 50 NEW ACT for America members to take action in support of real immigration reform.
If our immigration crisis is not addressed, our nation will disappear before our very eyes, but as long as I have your support, I promise you that I will never back down in this fight for survival.
Together, we will secure our nation’s borders once and for all!
Always Devoted,
