On behalf of Jay Lucas, founder of the Sunshine Initiative, we are pleased to extend an invitation to join us Friday, February 25th, for a special event on NH housing and the capabilities of 3D House Printing. As a key stakeholder in the community, it is important that you see firsthand how we can truly solve one of New Hampshire's toughest issues through innovation and collaboration. In addition, we value your input and opinion as we begin the process of 3D House Printing here in the Granite State.
These 3D homes are amazing. The first one was constructed two months ago in only 22 hours, and the cost was 15 percent less than the cost for a traditional stick-built home. And, this cost advantage is expected to increase to ’30 percent less’ in the near future. The houses are built of cement, thus less expensive than lumber, and only require a crew of 3-4 people. Moreover, very impressively, once built, the energy cost is 50 percent less than that of a traditional home.
Joining us for this all-important presentation will be Zack Mannheimer of Alquist 3D, one of the nation's leading 3D Home Printing companies. Alquist has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to create the first 3D owner occupied printed home in the United States.
