As a Registered Nurse with a lifetime of hospital experience, I understand the difficulties working Americans face when it comes to health care.
I’ve seen people forgo treatments because of the cost to them and their families. I’ve talked with people whose income just barely excludes them from Medicaid, denying them the necessary health care their family needs. I watched a woman with breast cancer give up treatment because she didn't think her life was worth the extreme financial burden it would cost her family.
