Our border is in shambles and the Biden Administration has consistently failed to take serious action to fix our border crisis.
Our border patrol is underfunded, and criminal actors have begun to take advantage of this. The influx of fentanyl from Mexico highlights the increased power of the cartels and the failure to stop illegal immigrants has led to record border crossings.
Last fiscal year, 11,201 pounds of fentanyl were seized by Border Patrol. That is enough to kill every American 7 times. In 2021, the highest annual total of migrant crossings was recorded at 1.6 million.
Our border is out of control.
It is no coincidence that these problems were accelerated as soon as President Biden rolled back President Trump’s border policies. We must take back the House from the Democrats and secure our border.
