Governor Parson to Join Secretary Perdue, Senator Blunt, and Missouri and Kansas Leaders for USDA Event?

(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) ??Friday, November 15, 2019, Governor Mike Parson will join U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and U.S. Senator Roy Blunt in Kansas City, Missouri, to tour the new site of the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s Economic Research (ERS) and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) agencies.?

U.S. Congressman Roger Marshall, ERS Acting Administrator Chris Hartley, Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Rob Dixon,?Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn, Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, Kansas City Area Development Council CEO Tim Cowden,?Kansas Secretary of Commerce David Toland, and Kansas Assistant Secretary of Agriculture Kelsey Olson will also be present.?
