Hi John, The pandemic exposed millions more kids to our nation’s food insecurity crisis – and childhood can’t survive where hunger thrives. So this year, we dedicated our annual Have a Heart campaign to child nutrition. Supporters like you put their love into action and advocated for kids in a big way, sending over 25,000 messages to Congress in support of making strong improvements to our nation’s child nutrition programs! Meanwhile, our incredible volunteers mobilized students, teachers, parents and children across the country, hosting valentines-making events and collecting thousands of handwritten postcards urging lawmakers to have a heart and invest in nutrition support. | |
