Virginia’s top cop can’t seem to follow the laws that he’s supposed to enforce. A.G. Jason Miyares illegally accepted $70,000 in campaign contributions during the legislative session.

This is just another example of the incompetence and flagrant disregard for Virginia’s laws and the Office of the Attorney General.

In the last few weeks, Miyares has claimed that his office cannot handle the workload after firing 30 key non-political staffers, fired the lead attorneys for the University of Virginia and George Mason University leading to allegations of potential quid pro quo in his hiring process, and reversed Virginia’s ERA stance single handedly.

So, friend, we need your help. The only thing preventing Jason Miyares from running roughshod over the code of Virginia is our Democratic majority in the Senate.
