I was introduced to Greg Lapin and VATA Training Center in March of 2018 when I attended their Intro to Tactical Pistol. It may sound dramatic to say that it changed my life, but that is what lead me down the rabbit hole of taking up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (at a gym Greg owns). It also got me back into the mindset of keeping my up with handgun skills, focusing on health, and more, but I'll leave that for a future article.
