Earlier this week, a federal court upheld the decision to block the South Carolina GOP’s six-week abortion ban.

This is welcome relief in the face of attack after attack on the pregnant peoples’ right to make healthcare decisions about their own bodies. But this isn’t the end of the fight.

Henry McMaster’s administration has already spent nearly $200k to defend the restrictive abortion ban in courts, and the Governor is willing to take this all the way to the Supreme Court if he has to.

South Carolinians deserve to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without interference — and they deserve a governor who’s willing to fight for this right and more.
