JULY 12, 2019: Twenty-one percent (21%) of voters nationwide believe the United States has no right to decide who is eligible to enter the country. They believe anyone who wants to live in the United States should be allowed entry.[1] ([link removed])

A ScottRasmussen.com survey ([link removed]) found that 79% disagree and think the U.S. does have the right to establish rules for entry.

This is consistent with a collection of survey data showing that eight out of 10 voters believe illegal immigration is bad for the United States. (Eight out of 10 also believe that legal immigration is good for the country.)[2] ([link removed])
