South Jersey deserves a representative who will focus on solving our community’s real issues, which is why I am proud to endorse Tim Alexander for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District.
As a young man, Tim experienced racial profiling when he was charged with a crime he did not commit, which put him on a lifelong path of fighting to fix broken systems.
Tim became a law enforcement officer and focused on correcting the relationship between police officers and the communities they serve. First from within the system, contributing to policy changes before retiring as a Captain of Detectives; then as a prosecutor. Since leaving the criminal justice system, Tim has continued to serve our community with a legal practice focused on civil rights. As a longtime South Jersey resident, Tim knows the hardships we face firsthand, and I know he will use his time in Congress to bring real solutions to the table.
Tim will be a strong advocate in Congress for community partnerships to create robust mental health support networks and improve how our emergency services interact with those in crisis.
