Ruth’s List is excited to welcome Alfredo Olvera and Yanyn San Luis to our Board of Directors.

Alfredo Olvera is the former president of the Dolphin Democrats, where he led successful initiatives to grow the organization’s membership and fundraising. He has dedicated the last four years to building bridges between elected officials and their constituents, educating voters, promoting women and minorities to leadership positions, and helping candidates win elections. An Ecuadorian born immigrant and a longtime resident of South Florida, Alfredo is a dedicated community activist who has served as co-chair of the Human Rights Campaign South Florida Steering Committee and as an Advisory Board Member for Ruth’s List Broward.

Yanyn “Yany” San Luis is the founder of The Win Woman, a firm focused on helping forward-thinking companies and non-profit organizations maximize the revenue, impact, and effectiveness of their CSR and philanthropic initiatives. A skilled fundraiser, she has secured millions in individual and corporate philanthropy for South Florida non-profit organizations. As the former co-chair of Ruth’s List Miami, Yanyn helped lead on-the-ground support for local candidates, ushering in historic wins for women at the local level in Miami-Dade.
