Dear friend,
What they say about me is true. I do wear my Minnesota pride on my sleeve.
So when a group of my congressional colleagues from the Western Caucus finally asked me, "Pete, what makes Minnesota great?" —I just had to show them for myself! Over the past couple weeks I have been promoting our amazing industries, ice fishing, natural resources, snowy winters, snowmobiling, hunting and of course, hockey!
But as proud as I am of our wild and wonderful life here in Northern Minnesota, I'm twice as proud of the honor of representing you in Congress.
That's why I need your feedback so I can relay it to our district's allies and policymakers. What makes Minnesota great to YOU? 
There are countless uniquely Minnesotan tidbits that make our way of life worth fighting for.
As I travel around our 8th Congressional District, every friend and neighbor reminds me in some way that our communities are special because our people are special.
And I cannot think of a better person to remind me about our greatness than you.
