A lot of people think beating Mitch McConnell next year is a long shot. But a lot has changed in just the last week.

Friend,

A lot of people think beating Mitch McConnell next year is a long shot. But a lot has changed in just the last week.

Let’s recap what we know:

  • Last Tuesday, Democrats defeated one of the most unpopular governors in the country in a close election right here in Kentucky. We won in counties Trump won by double digits, and in parts of the state where Democrats haven’t won in a long time.
  • The most unpopular senator in the country (Mitch McConnell) is from Kentucky, too. And he’s up for re-election next year.
  • An independent poll shows Amy is just one point down. That’s right: Someone who has never run statewide in Kentucky is starting out in a statistical tie with a six-term senator.
  • The more people across the state get to know Amy, the more they like what she brings to the table. And the more they believe in her, the more likely it is that we can, and will, defeat Mitch McConnell next year.

When you lay it out like that, our job looks pretty easy: Spend every minute of the next year getting Amy’s message out.

That’s why we’re already up on the air with an ad that demonstrates who Amy is and why she’s running to take on Mitch McConnell and the culture of corruption and obstruction he’s built in D.C.

We think this gamble will pay off, especially if supporters like you chip in to help keep Amy’s message on the air for a few extra days. Will you make a donation today?

Tell anyone who’s still in doubt to strike the word “impossible” from their vocabulary. Defeating Mitch McConnell won’t be easy. But if we all do our part, it is 100 percent possible.

Thank you,

Team McGrath
