I am a Dreamer.

I grew up in Wyoming, but I wasn’t born there. I came to the United States as a child.

My parents worked hard to give me a shot at the American Dream. My mother cleaned hotel rooms and my father did construction.

But despite all their hard work and their commitment to giving me the opportunity for a better life, it wasn’t until President Obama signed DACA into action that I was able to come out of the shadows without fear of deportation and pursue my dreams of working in politics.

Now all of this is in jeopardy. The Supreme Court -- led by two of Trump’s hand-picked Justices -- is on the verge of ending the program that has allowed me to contribute to the country I love: the United States of America.

And 700,000 young people like me could be deported if Trump gets his way.

We are a country built by immigrants. Repealing DACA isn’t just wrong -- it’s un-American -- just like Donald Trump.

DACA changed my life forever. If Trump succeeds at ending the program, it would be devastating to the hundreds of thousands of Dreamers that depend on DACA every day.

I’ve worked to elect Democrats up and down the ballot -- and I was proud to be part of the team that flipped the House in 2018.
