We’ve been tracking the incredible news of Starbucks stores across the country and their drive to unionize.
After the first store unionized in Buffalo, NY just over two months ago, an incredible 100 stores in 26 states have now followed suit – and more are organizing every day.

And how are Starbucks executives responding to this wave of worker power in their ranks?
Are they listening to the concerns of their “partners”? Raising wages? Stopping unjust and unsustainable scheduling practices?
Of course not. They did what all mega-corporations do – they started union-busting.
Starbucks has been flooding employees with anti-union scaremongering, spending millions of dollars on consultants who specialize in shutting down union drives, and training store managers to resist union efforts.
But worst of all, they are targeting employees who unionize with termination – including 7 in a store in Memphis and one of the original union organizers in the first union store in Buffalo.
Union busting is disgusting, John. And in America, it’s also disgustingly easy to get away with. That’s why we need the Senate to abolish the filibuster and pass all the legislation that’s backed up on Chuck Schumer’s desk – including the PRO Act.
