Montana deserves a leader who practices what they preach.

Friend,

By now, you’ve probably seen the news that federal watchdogs confirmed what we’ve long-known about Ryan Zinke: That he abused his position at the Department of the Interior for personal gain.

Zinke’s response to being exposed has been a case study in deflection and poor leadership. Rather than own up, Zinke blamed “the deep state” for running a smear campaign against him. He even released an ad styling himself in the image of President Roosevelt, along with some half-baked “man in the arena” references. It was truly bizarre.

Even after all this, Zinke has a… high opinion of himself.

It’s fitting that Ryan Zinke is trying to sell himself as being a “Republican modeled after Theodore Roosevelt” despite destroying the environmental protections and national monuments established by Roosevelt himself. His perception of himself has always been divorced from reality, but he isn’t fooling anyone on where his priorities really lie.

His legacy is defined by his ethics violations, and even The Natural Resources Defense Council (NDRC) described Ryan Zinke’s tenure at the Department of the Interior as a “a full-scale attack on Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy.”

Montana deserves a leader who actually practices what they preach -- not someone who deflects and hopes voters like you are too naive to know the difference.

If you’re ready to send someone to Congress who will actually uphold Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy and protect our public lands, donate $3 to Cora’s campaign today. She represents our only shot at making sure Zinke doesn’t get another chance to represent Montanans.

Thanks, friend.
