The National Republican Senatorial Committee, the campaign arm of the Senate Republicans, just put out a new press release with the headline, “ICYMI: Colorado Catapults into Top Competitive Senate Races”

The National GOP is gearing up for a “red-wave,” and our race is a top target for their efforts to take back the Senate this year.

They’re encouraged by the recent poll that shows Michael losing by one point to a Republican opponent, and the National Journal analysis that ranked his seat in the top 10 races most likely to flip this year.

We don’t have room to fall short in our work to re-elect Michael. The Mitch McConnell-aligned super PAC and Senate Republicans raised a combined $200 million last year to flip seats like Michael’s and they’re going to use a lot of that money to come after us, hard .

We don’t have to outraise them in order to win, but it is important that we keep up with our fundraising goals. The money we raise will go toward rapid response efforts to fend off Republican attacks, voter outreach to amplify Michael’s wins, and expanding our campaign infrastructure as this race gets off the ground.

Michael won his last midterm re-election by a hair, so we’ll need all the help we can get to fight back against incoming Republican attacks. Can you chip in any amount now to help us collect the resources we need to win?
