Jack, New Mexico is a national leader in voting rights and played a crucial role in securing 2020 victories across the board. As we head into this epic election year, we need to protect the gains we’ve made and build on our progress.
So I’ve prepared our 2022 New Mexico Midterm Memo, which includes key points to remember as we fight to protect our elections!

MEMORANDUM | 2022 NEW MEXICO MIDTERM
- National Republicans are targeting New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional district. The NM GOP is scared of this seat flipping, and so they’re spending millions to protect it.
- After redistricting, Republicans think they have a shot with New Mexico's 3rd Congressional district.
- Republican lawmakers in both chambers of the state legislature are using the same tactics as national Republicans to prevent critical election/voting rights legislation from passing. From making election day a state holiday, to expanding vote by mail, and even protecting our election workers from physical violence, the NM GOP won't even let these bills come to a debate.
- Maggie’s GOP opponents embrace the Big Lie wholeheartedly. Not much more to say about that.
- Re-electing Maggie will ensure the safety of our voting rights. New Mexico needs a secretary of state who will fight for our voting rights, making sure our elections are free, fair, transparent, and secure. We must elect a strong leader who will stand up for the people of New Mexico and protect their voices.
The midterms will be here before we know it. Rush a $10 contribution right away so we can turn out every New Mexican voter to re-elect Maggie and defend our democracy >>
