[1]Cori Bush
   We’re off to the races,
   John.
Earlier today, Cori officially filed her candidacy to run for re-election
and represent Missouri’s First District in Congress!

But Cori isn’t the only one filing her paperwork this week: Multiple
candidates have already announced their campaigns to challenge Cori Bush.

[ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $5 or anything you can to help us
raise $10,000 today so we can send a loud and clear message that we have
Cori’s back this election? It’s critical we raise a record amount of money
today to demonstrate the strength of our anti-racist, progressive
   movement.
[ [link removed] ]Chip in $5

Cori has been an unapologetic advocate for our progressive values and has
made it clear she’s not backing down in the fight to pass Medicare for
All, a Green New Deal, and anti-racist legislation. There’s no doubt that
this stance will make Cori a top target of GOP dark money this year.
In 2020, Cori’s sisters in the Squad, Representatives Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, all faced primary
challengers backed by Republican donors, dark money, and corporate PAC
dollars. Their opponents spent millions in an attempt to weaken our
progressive coalition, and we know that they’re going to come out even
harder in 2022 to fight for a Republican majority in Congress.
Unlike many other members of Congress, we don’t accept a single cent
from corporate PACs. That puts us at a disadvantage in fundraising, but we
know this is the right way to power our movement if we want Cori to fight
for the people’s priorities, not corporate interests. That means we need
to work extra hard to financially sustain this campaign and overcome the
attacks we’ll face this election cycle.
That’s why we have no time to waste: We’re setting a $10,000 goal today to
make sure we have the resources to protect Cori’s seat and make sure she
can continue advocating for a people-first agenda in Congress.
[ [link removed] ]We’re not accepting a single cent from special interests in this
campaign — every bit is funded by folks like you,
John. Even giving $5 makes a
big difference to help us prepare for a heated primary election this
   August.
   Together,
   Team Cori
