Greg Casar is running for Congress in Texas’ 35th district to deliver a
bold agenda for working people — from reproductive rights to Medicare for
All. And the movement is 100% behind him. Greg has the support of AOC,
Bernie, and other progressive leaders because they know he’ll work on
behalf of the people in Congress.

Greg is ready to fight for a better Texas, but right now, his
establishment opponent is attacking him for his progressive leadership on
reallocating police funding towards public goods like mental health
services and supporting the unhoused.

As a member of the Austin City Council, Greg fought tirelessly, leading on
issues of labor rights, reproductive justice, civil rights, and more. He
successfully raised wages for thousands of workers, ended all personal
marijuana arrests in his city, and closed inexcusable tax loopholes for
the wealthiest.

We’re not surprised that a Democrat is using GOP talking points to attack
a progressive like Greg Casar. When elections get tough, progressives like
Greg become targets for smear campaigns. But we won’t let them win. We
know Greg is the best candidate in this race to take on serious issues
like housing and public safety.
