This halfway point happens to coincide with an important moment in history: Impeachment proceedings have begun. I’ve been calling for impeachment since February and the need for our representatives to have moral courage to impeach Trump—and now it’s finally happening.

I was filled with so much hope yesterday listening to an episode of The Daily, a news podcast, where a third-grader, Leo, wanted to learn more about impeachment. He generated a list of questions to ask NYT Political Reporter, Mike Schmidt, which covered everything from the history of the term ‘Whistleblower’ to the definition of Quid Pro Quo. As the The Daily host put it, “Leo was unafraid to ask all the questions we’ve been too embarrassed to ask.”

It is a good reminder that Leo and the next generation are counting on us to do the right thing. That is why your support—at any level—is so crucial.
