This month has been incredibly busy for us here at Team Hahn.
We're continuing to introduce Kara to voters across the 1st (see some pictures below). And we've been busy working to bring on new staff and secure key endorsements.
I wanted to share a quick update on what Kara's been up to, and what we need to do to keep building a winning campaign.
Kara on the Trail
This month Kara took some time to deliver supplies to veterans and frontline workers. Here she is dropping off masks and at-home rapid Covid testing kits to Three Village Meals on Wheels in Stony Brook.
Kara spent some time celebrating Lunar New Year with the Asian American Association of Greater Stony Brook.
Earlier this month Kara spoke with local Democratic Committees in Southold, Riverhead, and Easthampton. (Virtually and In-person) We've also got meetings scheduled in Huntington, Islip, Southampton, and Brookhaven this upcoming week.
Finance Update
The pace is only going to pick up from here. In my meetings with Zach, our finance director, it's clear that we need to scale up our efforts.
With new district lines, we have tons of new voters to reach. And with the race now designated as a toss-up race, we know Republicans will be looking to pour in their dark money to try to maintain their grip on this seat.
