I'm fired
up.

This weekend, I joined my friend Rep. Sylvia Garcia and labor leaders in
Austin ahead of the March 1st Texas primary to get out the vote for Greg
Casar — a proven community leader running for Congress in TX-35 who
consistently puts working families first:

Expanding our progressive coalition in the House starts with strong
candidates like Greg, who is ready to dive headfirst into our tough but
necessary fights on Medicare for All, climate action, creating good jobs,
affordable housing, and so much more. But this primary in Texas is a big
one — and as the first congressional primary of this midterm election
year, what we achieve now could set the tone for the rest of the cycle.

[ [link removed] ]So I have to ask: Can you contribute $3 today to help
our movement elect more progressives and defend the Democratic majority in
Congress? We can’t afford to fall short — not with so much on the line for
working people:

If you want to read more about our year-round organizing work, I’m
attaching our team’s email from over the weekend down below.

In solidarity,

Pramila

Regardless of the election cycle, our team is always working to organize
communities, register voters, and build progressive power. Last year, we
made over 100,000 calls to voters, and we are gearing up to help elect
Democrats like Greg Casar in the upcoming Texas primaries.

In-person early voting has already begun in Texas — and Pramila is in
Texas right now getting out the vote for Greg. The 2022 election cycle is
officially underway.

[ [link removed] ]It takes immense resources to run such a robust organizing program
like this, and every contribution ensures that our team can continue this
vital work. Can you contribute $3 to fuel Pramila’s
year-round organizing work?

Pramila is proud to run a year-round organizing program. Many elected
officials wait until September of an election year to begin their
organizing efforts. Team Pramila believes in doing things a little
differently — we organize all year, every year because we know power
cannot be built in a span of a few weeks.

Pramila started out as an organizer, fighting locally (and successfully)
to raise the minimum wage in Seattle to $15. She hasn’t stopped being an
organizer and she won’t stop knocking doors and building power for the
people.

[ [link removed] ]Can you contribute $3
today to help Pramila defend the Democratic majority in Congress and
organize to elect progressives? There’s a lot of work to do to expand our
Progressive Caucus and ensure the GOP does not take power.

We’ll be sure to update you on Pramila’s trip to Texas and her organizing
work across the country as this election year continues.

In solidarity,

Team Jayapal
