Jack, the future of our state hinges on this election year – but the GOP knows this very well, and they just dropped some pretty terrible maps. It would give Democrats 3 Congressional seats and Republicans 10 in a battleground state. But the People of North Carolina vote 50/50 – that’s why we’re a swing state. We are voting on the North Carolina Supreme Court, and we could very well lose the justices whose verdicts we count on – especially to throw out terrible, terrible maps. Bad maps like these will set us back decades.

These legislators are power-hungry extremists who know their will doesn’t reflect the people’s will, and the only way they can stay in control is to draw bunk maps like these. They literally put HALF of Charlotte into a district clearly drawn for Tim Moore to revive his Congressional dreams.

This is not justice, y’all. It’s just not.
