Folks,

To put it bluntly, very few people thought Sean could pull off a win in IL-06 back in 2018. A Democrat hadn’t won in the district in nearly 50 years.

Sean knew the odds were stacked against him, but as a former clean-energy entrepreneur, he knew he had to take a stand against Trump’s dangerous rhetoric and policies surrounding climate change.

Sean defied the odds when he flipped IL-06 blue in 2018, and he needs your help to defy them again to win for a third term.

Our team is falling behind on our end-of-month goal and we need every resource to go up against the dark money groups that want to see this district back in the hands of Republicans – will you chip in $25 or more?

Sean spent 20 years in the clean energy sector coming up with tangible ways to provide energy to folks while reducing the negative impacts on our climate. But when he decided to sell his company, he realized that not everyone was in this business for the same reasons.

Sean met a lot of folks interested in buying his business who cared more about lining their own pockets and skirting regulations than actually protecting the environment or providing folks with clean energy.

When Trump assumed office, Sean saw those same traits displayed by folks in his administration. Trump immediately started rolling back environmental regulations and gutting scientific agencies.

As a scientist and father, Sean felt called to run for Congress. And since he won, he’s been fighting for sensible policies to address the root causes of the climate crisis.

But Sean is not done fighting yet.

Even with Trump out of the White House, there are still special interest groups in Washington that are corrupting politicians and actively propping up climate change deniers who ignore science.

Will you chip in $25 or more today to ensure Sean holds his seat in this year’s election and is able to continue fighting for policies based on the best available science?
