Ruth’s List is excited to announce seven leaders who will receive the 2022 Alex Sink Changemaker Award at our annual She’s the Change Leadership Conference, May 13-14, 2022 in Orlando, FL. This special award is named for Ruth’s List founder Alex Sink, to recognize Democratic pro-choice women elected officials who flipped a seat from red to blue last cycle.

 

We are excited to honor the following women and their huge accomplishments:

• Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County Mayor 

• Nancy Metayer, Coral Springs City Commission District 3 

• Nadia Combs, Hillsborough County School Board District 1

• Leanne Tellam, Palmetto Bay Vice Mayor

• Jennifer Andreu, Plantation City Council Group 3 

• Sarah Malega, Lake Worth Beach City Commission District 1

• Nancy Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector
