 If you woke up this morning eager to get your impeachment fix from the New York Times, USA Today, CNN.com, or any number of other national news organizations, you probably saw Amazon Studios' ad for its newest film, The Report.
Amazon's stunt, which redacted news stories, parallels the real-life attempt the U.S. government made to hide the truth about torture. The years long saga of the Senate Intelligence Committee effort to reveal the truth about post-9/11 CIA torture is the subject of this important new film starring Adam Driver and Annette Bening.
The Report opens this weekend in select theaters in a number of major cities – check your local theaters. Then The Report streams on Amazon Video starting November 29.
