Online Event: Solidarity with Striking UMWA Mine Workers

Special to People's World

Solidarity With Striking UMWA Mine Workers at Warrior Met Coal in Alabama!

We're going to have music, talks, and fun while raising money to support the striking Warrior Met Coal mine workers.

In Brookwood, Alabama nearly a thousand striking coal miners - Black and white, women and men - have been walking the picket line for more than nine months. What are their issues? Health care, 7-day work weeks, substandard wages and most of all the right to be treated with the dignity that every worker deserves.
