Hello Community,
Earlier this month we launched the
Black Seed Fund grant<[link removed]>. It’s been exciting to see the community responses and nominations come through—especially because parts of this grantmaking process are new to us. With about a month remaining until the March 18 deadline, you have time to experiment and imagine with us by nominating a Minnesota-based, Black-led organization you love.
Black Seed Fund grants will invest general operating dollars in organizations that build power with Black people. As a nominator, you’ll
tell us<[link removed]> about the work you see this organization leading, with a focus on how it supports Black communities in reaching liberation. We also invite you to share what your connection or relationship to the organization is, and what Black liberation means to you.
The whole nominations process takes about ten minutes. If you have questions along the way, please connect with Program Officer, Black Movement Ecosystem
Duaba Unenra<[link removed]>.
In solidarity,
The HFJ Program Team
