KC White elected next Board Chair
KC White elected next Board Chair
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Friend,
After careful planning, I will be stepping down as Chair of the CF Foundation’s Board of Trustees in May of this year. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve this community and work closely with such a talented and passionate group, and I am deeply proud of all that we have accomplished together.

I am thrilled to announce that the CF Foundation’s Board of Trustees unanimously elected KC White as the next Chair of the Board of Trustees. This marks the first time in the Foundation’s history that the Board will be led by a person with CF, an exciting milestone for our community as we see more adults with CF living fuller, longer lives and bringing their voices to our mission in important new ways.

KC has served on the Board of Trustees since 2005 and as Chair of the Foundation’s Adult Advisory Council since its inception in 2014. Her commitment to the Foundation began when she was 9 years old. She has led the way in engaging the adult community and championing programs and opportunities for adults to better inform the work of the Foundation, including the creation of BreatheCon and the annual ROSE UP fundraising event.

KC is an exceptional leader and colleague, with both a broad perspective of our community and a sharp focus on the individual living with CF. She represents what our community has hoped and strived for over decades: a long, healthy life for every person with CF, defined not by their disease but by their own goals and dreams.
