I’m a direct-action organizer. I’m used to pushing the powerful to do what’s right, and last winter, I helped get 200 additional homeless shelter beds added in Tacoma and get a temporary shelter extended. I’m willing to do what’s needed.

I’m willing to debate any of my opponents. I can’t say the same for my Chevron-funded opponent Derek Kilmer, who refused to appear on a stage with me during my 2020 campaign and still hasn’t acknowledged my 2022 campaign.

I’m willing to talk to the press. Instead, I’ve been met with a media blackout. In 2020, a local paper even wrote about a man who was thinking about running for the same seat, and another article about how he was no longer thinking about running — but nothing about me, the woman actually running!

In 2020, we bypassed this stonewalling by taking our message directly to voters. We made over 900,000 phone calls and won 35,000 votes as a result.
