Folks, can I be honest with you? My finance team went over our February fundraising numbers, and to be honest, we’re falling short of where I wanted to be this month.
Now, I’m not going to act like the sky is falling, because I’m sure you get plenty of pants-on-fire emails in your inbox every day.
But, I do want to be transparent about where our fundraising stands and why this is important.
In order to hit our February fundraising benchmark, we need to raise roughly $715 a day. That may seem like a lot, but that’s the number we need in order to keep operations going.
Our numbers have taken a slight dip this past week, but we still have time to turn things around — will you chip in $5 today to help our campaign get back on track for February?

There’s a lot on the line in 2022. Republicans only need to flip 5 seats to regain control of the House — and as Alabama’s only Democratic representative, I don’t want my seat to be one of them.
But this isn’t just about defending our House majority -- it’s about continuing the good work we’ve been doing. I’ve been fighting in Congress for legislation on infrastructure, voting rights, healthcare, and so much more in order to positively improve the lives of people across the nation.
That’s why I’m not exaggerating when I say that every donation you make to this campaign helps me keep pushing for solutions to address the problems people are facing in Alabama and across the country.
