Folks, do you recognize this girl?
I grew up in a working-class family as one of eight siblings. My parents taught me the values of hard work, compassion, and perseverance that I’ve carried with me through life and led me to where I am today.
Will you chip in to my end-of-month fundraising goal so I’m able to continue the hard work I’ve started in Congress?
I raised both of my children here in Nevada. So many of my core memories are centered around this state: enjoying its natural beauty, spending time with our friends and family, and getting to know neighbors. I wouldn’t give it up for the world.
But look, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the opportunities that were made available to me while growing up. I was fortunate enough to have parents that always had a source of income, even if things came down to the wire that month. On top of this, I was heavily involved in afterschool activities that taught me the values of leadership at a young age.
The reality is, we’ve had over 40 years since then to make sure these exact opportunities are available to every family. And while we’ve made some progress, we still have a long way to go.
If we want to pave the way for success for Nevada, its future generations, and hard-working families like mine, we need leadership that’s going to fight for it – and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing in Congress.
The fight for equal opportunity for all hasn’t been easy but, it sure as hell has been worth it. I’m running for re-election in my district to give Nevada’s future generations a fair shot and I need your help.
Can you chip in $5 or more to help my campaign win re-election and keep up the fight to expand opportunities across every corner of Nevada?
Let’s continue down the path of progress.
With gratitude,
Susie Lee
