I held a press conference at the Capitol Friday morning and discussed the importance of keeping Critical Race Theory out of our schools. I also announced that one of my priorities for the upcoming 88th Legislative Session will be eliminating tenure at all public universities in Texas. Tenured professors must not be able to hide behind the phrase "academic freedom" and then proceed to poison the minds of our next generation.
