What would you do to stop our NHS being sold off in a trade deal? Would you spend half an hour outside your local hospital talking to general election candidates?

In the week of the 25th November - 1st December, we need you to put your local candidates in the spotlight and make sure they are committed to protecting our NHS from trade deals.

This week the NHS monthly stats were released - and the situation is dire. Years of underfunding, privatisation and cuts have left our precious NHS on its knees.

This election is our chance to elect a government which will restore the NHS to a well-funded, publicly provided health service. Voters want to protect the NHS. But they can only do that if they know which candidates they can trust.

Hundreds of you have generously donated to make this campaign as big and bold as possible. This is the moment we've been building for.

That's where you come in! We need you to hold events in your constituency (during the week of action 25th November-1st December) to get your candidates to sign the pledge to protect the NHS from trade deals, and to make a BIG FUSS if they don't.

Here in the We Own It office, we're getting ready to take action in Oxford West!

All you need to do now is tell us your name, your constituency, and the address of your nearest NHS building (a hospital or GP surgery).

We'll link you up with others in your constituency, and send you resources to use to get your candidates to sign up to the pledge, and to make some noise in your local press about it!

We want you to go to your nearest NHS hospital or GP surgery and invite your general election candidates to meet you there. Ask your candidates to come and take a photo with a placard that says 'I'll protect our NHS from trade deals by ending privatisation'. It should take longer than half an hour.

Encourage them to sign our pledge, and tell your local paper which candidates are on board and which are not. (We can send you the placard and a draft press release!)

You'll be part of a nationwide wave of action for our NHS, and we'll have candidates signing up from all over!

The more noise you can make, the more attention will be paid to your candidates' position on the NHS. You can play a part in making sure that we all elect candidates who are willing to do what it takes to protect our NHS from privatisation and trade deals.
