If you ask Mark what it takes to elect more Democrats here in Virginia he’ll tell you two things — strong candidates, and a strong state Democratic party. The party isn’t just about the organization or the staff; it’s about the Virginians from all walks of life who work together to make real change happen in the Commonwealth. Mark knows this as well as anyone, from his time helping to rebuild the Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) as party chair in the ‘90s and from seeing those efforts pay off in the years since.

That’s why Mark asked us to reach out to you today. The Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) plays such an important role in electing Democrats up and down the ballot here in the Commonwealth. But because of the pandemic, they haven’t been able to hold the major in-person events that give them the resources they need to reach voters and get them to the polls.

And all of this will pay off in a big way when we keep the U.S. Senate and House blue in 2022, and take back the House of Delegates in 2023.
