John,
The 2022 midterms will be marked by the largest number of Congressional Democrats leaving their seats
since the 1990s. Democrats are abandoning their seats because they know a RED WAVE is coming in
the 2022 midterm elections. Republican voters are fired up to take back the House and Senate and stop Biden and the Radical Left’s extreme
agenda. | It’s important that we elect bold, conservative Republicans to take charge and reject Democrats in any and all positions of
power. You may remember last fall when more than 50 Texas House Democrats broke quorum, fled to Washington, D.C., and gridlocked the State
Capitol for 38 consecutive days to protest the passage of election integrity legislation. Do you recall what repercussions the Texas Democrats paid
for pulling this ridiculous stunt? Can’t remember?
That’s because they faced no penalties or repercussions in the slightest. Instead, quorum busting Democrats got to retain their
powerful House committee chairmanships. Despite holding out for the lengthiest quorum break in Texas modern history, fleeing Democrats still hold
power in the State Legislature. Though Republicans have retained state
legislative majorities for nearly 20 years, Democrats hold approximately 40% of committee chairmanships in the Texas House. The Republican Party of
Texas believes that Republicans should end the practice of voluntarily awarding powerful committee chairmanships to Democrats.
You can voice your support for removing Democrats from all positions of power today!
Early voting for the March 1st Republican Primary is underway, and this issue is on the ballot. If you agree that the Republican-controlled
Legislature should end the practice of awarding committee chairmanships to Democrats, vote YES on Proposition 6.
Will you join us in our efforts to end the practice of appointing Texas Democrats to positions of
power? Will you join us in expanding our legislative majorities by electing more conservative Republicans to office in 2022? Chip in now to Keep Texas Red! |
