Since launching in 2017, Let America Vote has sought to create political consequences for politicians who suppress eligible Americans’ right to vote. That means identifying pro-democracy candidates and pouring grassroots resources into helping them win elections.
Our method has proven to be successful. In 2017, we helped elect a Democratic governor in Virginia. And just last week, we helped elect 19 (and counting) of our endorsed candidates -- and flipped Virginia’s legislature blue.
Our victories prove that our model works. And we’re ready to do it all again in 2020. But we need grassroots support and resources to make it happen.
