Dear John,

I’m looking forward to moderating this Saturday’s virtual OLCV Town Hall with Senator Ron Wyden, February 26th at 1pm! Have you RSVPed and submitted your question yet? If not, there’s still time, just click here

As the Mayor of Beaverton–and mother to a young daughter–I do my best to fight for a brighter future every day. Climate action is important not only at the national and state level, but also at the city level. We all need to work together in order to tackle the climate crisis, and I’m looking forward to chatting with Senator Wyden about the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law–a new law that will make investments in roads, public transit, lead pipe removal, and more–and how we need to finish the job with the Build Back Better Act.

If passed, the Build Back Better Act would be the strongest climate action ever taken by the U.S. It would invest in clean energy, justice, and jobs, and save families money on energy bills. For now, the Build Back Better Act is unfinished business, and we need to fight to get it over the finish line. RSVP and submit your question for OLCV’s Town Hall with Senator Wyden!

Don’t forget–questions for Senator Wyden are due before the deadline: tomorrow, February 22nd. You can submit your question and RSVP here!

Can’t wait to see you there,
Lacey Beaty
Mayor of Beaverton
