John, February has been a busy month.
Between attacking the LGBTQ+ community with an offensive “Don’t Say Gay” bill, threatening reproductive rights, and defunding public schools for keeping children safe, Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans have been working overtime to hurt Floridians.
So I’ve been working overtime with my Democratic colleagues in the state legislature to STOP them. It’s been a tough fight, but I’m proud of the work we’ve done so far.
John, these horrific attacks on Floridians are evidence of a bigger problem. We need nationwide protection against the dangerous power grabs Ron DeSantis and far-right Republican state legislators are trying to pull off.
